Greetings all in the name of Christ!
I want to use my column this week as a reminder of our special Holy Week schedule. On Thursday, we’ll gather at 6:30 PM in the sanctuary to celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion. While I will preach for a few minutes, the focus really is all about the sacrament, and the last meal that Christ and his sister and brothers in ministry shared together before he was arrested. Then, on Friday, we return to the sanctuary for a somber Good Friday service. This service will read the entire Passion story intertwined with beautiful music. You won’t want to miss these opportunities.
Then, on Sunday morning at 7 AM, we’ll celebrate the Risen Christ with a sunrise service. Finally, at 10:45 we’ll gather again to sing the praises of the one who has defeated death!
See you soon at the HE IS (ALMOST) RISEN place!
In Christ,
Collin
