Greetings all in the name of Christ!
Christmas is just around the corner and so now, perhaps more so than at any other time of year, we are running around crossing tasks off a seemingly endless to-do list. This is in addition to what we already do in the usual busy-ness of life. It is time for something different. Hopefully, the Christmas holiday will bring a bit of relief to your jam-packed schedules and I pray that it does.
Don’t forget that on Christmas Eve, we have two separate worship opportunities. At 4 PM, we have the Family Christmas Eve service though which anyone is welcome! This service will feature a Christmas play put on by the children and it will be a super crowded, super cute worship service. At 6 PM, we have the candlelight and communion worship service and will be a bit more traditional. I hope that you are able to make it to one or both of the services!
This week in worship, we’ll continue our Making Room sermon series by talking a bit about how throughout his ministry, Jesus always made room for quiet. He often filled that quiet with prayer time. We’ll talk about how even though many of us are as busy as we can ever remember being, quiet and solitude are still important to seek out. We’ll even have some quiet time during worship to illustrate it’s power.
See you this Sunday in the QUIET TIME place.
