Good things for families this October

Fall has come, and we are preparing some great events for the end of the year! I hope that you can enjoy fellowship and ministry here at Grace!

Messy Church will be Monday, 10/3/22, from 5 -6 pm. We will be outside in front of the church to do Blessing of the Animals! Bring your pets to be blessed and to hear the story of Saint Francis of Assisi! If you cannot bring your pet or do not have one, you are welcome to bring your stuffed pet instead!

October 8th, the pumpkins arrive! We will need volunteers to help set up the pumpkin patch and unload the trailer! This is a Labor of Love for our church! We still do not have a time of arrival for the pumpkins, but as soon as we know, we will pass on that information. Come dressed to get an excellent workout!

We will also be needing volunteers to work the pumpkin patch this year! We would like to have someone outside from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm daily to greet our community and make the sales! We will be cashless, so it will be easy to manage; just scan the QR code!

Also, in October, we will give our third graders their bibles on 10/23/22 during worship service! Please email me at or call at (713)205-6040 with your child’s information so we can get them a bible.

November brings on the Annual Auction! It will be 11/13/22 from 12- 3 pm after church! We are calling all creative minds to bring on your talents! You can create, bake, sew, make a basket, or any other gift you may want to donate! We have one auctioneer who has volunteered this year already but would like a second one as well! Any volunteers for the task? Please contact me with any questions or details about the auction. Let us make this year’s auction great and memorable!
